Our Norwegian Partnership - Together on Tour
On the 10th of November a group of Norwegian students gathered in Kleinmachnow to work together during the 3rd project meeting of our ErasmusPlus school partnership with Nordahl Grieg school in Bergen, Norway promoted by the European Union.
On the 2nd day we travelled to Leipzig and visited the BMW Manufacturing Factory where we saw the production of the I4 electric cars. We arrived in a privately hired bus, where we spent the trip singing and laughing together. Some of us took pictures of the BMW-building as we entered, but as soon as we did, we were informed that pictures were not allowed inside. After entering we were divided into 2 groups. The German language tour and the English language tour. We had a lovely time there and learnt a lot about cars and factory work and how environmentally friendly they have become.
Over the next couple of days, we enjoyed a lot of exciting activities. We got a guided tour of Berlin, taught each other German and Norwegian songs, went shopping in Leipzig and Berlin, dressed up in funny clothes in the clothes shop, and made posters, a film, and an Instagram account (@climate_change_gurus) during a workshop here at the school.
This workshop, and the entire trip, has brought all of us together. We feel like brothers and sisters now and are very much looking forward to the trip to Norway in March.
